ATLANTA TOILET PLUMBER

Of all the many reasons
to replace or upgrade your toilets, the most important
one is often the least obvious one: water conservation.
Within the past 10 years, toilet flush mechanisms have
been restricted to allowing a flush of 1.6, or sometimes
1.0 gallons per flush. In years prior, 3.5 gallons was
the standard, and before that, up to 8.5 gallons was common.
With water conservation being such an important issue
as it is today, all toilets are now regulated at very
low flush volumes. There are several types of toilets
for you to consider if you are upgrading or replacing.
In all new homes, standard 1.6 gallon per flush toilets
are installed. They include internal parts designed to
limit the amount of water used for each flush. They are
available in an extremely wide selection of styles, colors,
sizes, and some have very unique features. The height
of the toilet's bowl ranges anywhere from 15 inches to
17 1/2 inches, and can be round or elongated. The toilet's
tank is matched to the bowl, and holds all the components
necessary for the toilet to function. Tanks come in different
shapes and styles also. As far as colors go, white is
the standard, but most companies offer a whole pallet
of color options, from black to even pink.
Dual-flush is the newest innovation in toilet design.
This type of toilet features two flush buttons, one activating
a 1.0 gallon flush, the other the standard 1.6 gallon
flush. Both flushes have their purposes, and without going
into too much detail, let's just call them 1 & 2.
High-end toilets feature very unique and often strange
features. Such features as self-opening and closing lids,
automatic flush, heated seats, and LED lighting are found
on some.
If your toilet is beginning to clog repeatedly, starting
to discolor, leak or anything else, or you just want to
upgrade your bathroom, new toilets are the easy, and eco-friendly
way to do just that.
