ATLANTA LEAK DETECTION PLUMBER

It can be very difficult to find water leaks in your home. Stains in ceilings, sheetrock, and hardwood flooring are all good indicators that a leak is present, but they don't always present themselves openly. In fact, many leaks are not visible at all. Locating and repairing these leaks is tedious work, requiring the right training, equipment, and experience to properly fix the problem. Not only special leak detection equipment is necessary, but the correct leak detection training to go along with it.

Complete leak detection is a part of the wide array of available services we offer. We are able to pinpoint with incredible accuracy the source of the leak, using the most sophisticated equipment. Whether under a concrete slab or behind a wall, our leak detection equipment will quickly find the problem by using a high-frequency listening device to zero in on minute pressure differences within the pipes. The pressure differentials are often caused by splits in the piping or tiny pinholes, and would otherwiese be undetectable by the human ear. When there is no water being used in the house by washing machines, faucets, etc., there should be no noise in the water pipes. Any small noises, such as hissing, are indicative of a leak, and by locating the source of the noise, we are able to access the area and expose the leak. The accuracy of this equipment is surprisingly high, with most leaks being detected within 6 inches of the exact location. Sometimes, multiple leaks are present, and by using this equipment, we're able to pinpoint several problem areas all at once. Doing it this way, there are no surprises.
